Mohawk Coffee House is seeking a Part-Time Coffee House manager.

Ice skating trip on Dec 27

Ice skating trip on Dec 27. Meet at the church at 10:30 to carpool down to PPG ice rink. $8 to skate and $4 for skate rentals. Bring extra money for food and shopping.

Christmas Party – Dec 17th

Christmas Party for 7-12 in the youth pastor office at 6pm on the 17th. Games, prizes, pizza, and more.

Upcoming Services

December 17 at 10 AM –  Morning worship featuring the children’s Christmas program.

December 24th at 10 AM – Christmas service, featuring a musical program by Bethel Choir.  Come sing carols and hear the story of the birth of Jesus.  Everyone is welcome!

December 24th at 7 PM –  Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, featuring readings from prophecies about the birth of Jesus.  Musical soloists will be: Glenn Leslie, Kadriye Tanyel, and Mike Zoccoli.  We will sing carols and light our individual candles as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!  Everyone is invited to this inspiring service!

December 31st at 10 AM – Bethel’s Praise team & Guest Pastor will be leading the service.

Choir’s Last Practices

The choir’s last two practices for the program to be held on December 24th are: Monday the 18th, starting at 7-8:15 PM, and Saturday, December 23rd at 12 noon till 1:30. (Dress rehearsal) If you enjoy singing, you can still join us by showing up at those two practices!

Christmas Caroling

Tomorrow evening, December 11th, 7 PM-8:30 PM, Bethel Choir is hosting a Christmas Caroling Evening at Moco House in Bessemer. The beverages and food we buy goes to support Moco House. If you are able, please bring a plate of Christmas cookies. EVERYONE is encouraged to come and join the fun!

This coming Saturday, December 16th, from 1:45-3:00 PM, we’ll be caroling and having fellowship with the residents at the Masternick Memorial Health Care Center in New Middletown. Please meet at 1:30 PM in the lobby (the building with the canopy at the back of the parking lot). Masternick will supply coffee, tea, hot cocoa, etc., but our folk are asked to bring plates of cookies and Christmas goodies, if possible. Please come and join us in this worthwhile outreach. Your kids are welcome, too!

Farewell Dinner

Everything is furnished.  We are just asking you to bring a dessert.


Check out our Christmas display of books, DVD’s and CD’s. When you signout a Christmas item there will be an ornament to place on the tree located in the overflow room or in the library hall way. Check the shelves also.

Deacons will be taking orders for poinsettias.  Envelopes will be on the table at the back of the sanctuary and on the table in the narthex.  Cost is $6.00 and the last Sunday to order will be December 10.

Please place your order in the offering plate or give to a deacon.  Poinsettias may be taken home anytime on December 24.
