Project H.O.P.E.

“The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
This is no other commandment greater than these.”
Mark 12:31

What does H.O.P.E. help with?

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:23

FOOD BANK
– This is our largest ongoing ministry throughout the year. Families rotate through the food bank which holds food give outs two times per month. Donations of food or monetary gifts are always needed. Items in need are:
  • Non-perishable food items : juices, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, cake mixes, frosting, sugar, oil, ketchup, mustard, pasta
  • Hygiene items : shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste
  • Other : dish & laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper

CLASSES

– Monthly classes (with a wide variety of topics) are held for families who receive help in all other aspects EXCEPT the food bank. The requirement is that families attend four classes per year.

BACK TO SCHOOL
– School age children receive school supplies, socks, underwear and gift cards to Gabe’s for new shoes.

CHRISTMAS
– Children receive Christmas gifts and families get a gift card to Aldi for food.

EASTER
– Families are sent a gift card to Aldi for food.

How can you help?

Financially – checks payable to Project H.O.P.E.

Stock the food bank with non-perishable food items, hygiene products, laundry detergent, dish soap

Give your time – become a church representative or help during our “busy” times – back to school, Christmas and the food bank

PRAY for these families in need
